Description
After my beach (Long Beach) was closed due to the oil from the Santa Barbra oil spill, I had the need to drive down to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world that is also threatened. I drove to Crystal Cove in the dark morning. I wanted to capture her beauty before our cancer ruins her and the life that she supports. The whole time I was shooting I felt she was, with each wave ,desperately cleaning herself from the oncoming oil and tar. The news is more concerned with the Kardashians than the down-fall of our generation to protect our planet.

Gorgeous, love the feel of the water circling around the rocks near shore as it heads back out to sea. Awesome sky too!

Love the dynamic movement in the clouds and water matched with those beautiful tones and details. A gorgeous black and white seascape Denise.

Such a beautiful seascape, Denise, and a starkly poignant message. We need to be better stewards of our beautiful Earth.
