Who is Denise Dube?

Denise Dube "I don't create pictures, I make goosebumps" Alfred Hitchcock. I started out as a bored American teenager when my father took a job in the Middle East. That was when the passion of photography found me.. Soon after, I was paid by International Newspapers and travel publications for my work by age 15.. I am so lucky to live in the City of Long Beach in Southern California. The location affords me the opportunity to shoot almost any genre on a whim... Black and white, night (blue hour) and Landscape is my passion Current events: Denise's work has been shown in Museums, galleries, added to various collections and used by designers and set designers. She was featured in the LA Times, Orange County Register, MSN Lifestyle, local news services, and other media publications. Exhibits November 2019- Solo exhibition at the Center in Long Beach sponsored by The Long Beach Creative Group and The Center. November 2018 thru December 2019 Gerald Desmond Bridge shoot was shown in various locations by the Arts Council of Long Beach and the Port of Long Beach. October 2018- Gerald Desmond Bridge shoot was on display at the Emporium sponsored by The Arts Council of Long Beach, and The Port of Long Beach. June-September- Completed working on a four-month commission shooting famous mid-century homes for the magazine and brochures sponsored by the Art Council of the Museum at the University of Long Beach. Denise hired two apprentices to assist and train in this project. A formal reception was held on November 2016. July August 2016- The prestigious Long Beach Play House Gallery very large solo exhibition. June 2016- El Dorado Nature Center Gallery solo exhibition. Sponsored by California State Parks and El Dorado Nature Center. Featured Denise's coastal, high sierra and other nature prints focusing on placing emotions in Nature as she struggles through drought, human consumption, and spills. March 2016 - Broken, Tole More and Stairway to Heaven are on Exhibit at Helleda Gallery in Long Beach California. October 2015 - January 2016 MOLAA "Broken" Tour 2014- 2015 with New York's Museums International Road Tour, `2014 Honorable Mention IAF New York. Final stop showing in the Russian Museum of Contemporary Art Summer of 2015 . Effective July 2015 MADE located on Pine in downtown Long Beach will be selling Denise's art and merchandise. August 2015 Denise is featured with 5 other Photographers at Long Beach best Photographers at the CALB Gallery.
