Product Details

Our luxuriously soft blankets are available in two different sizes and feature incredible artwork on the top surface. The bottom surface is white. Our 100% polyester blankets are available in two different styles: plush fleece and sherpa fleece. Plush fleece blankets are soft and fluffy on both sides, whereas sherpa blankets are smooth like a soft sweater on the artwork side (i.e. shorter threads) which provides for a sharper image. Looking for a recommendation? Go with a 60" x 80" plush fleece blanket. It's soft and luxurious on both sides... the artwork looks incredible... and the size is just right for everyone.

Artist's Description

449 Pine Ave.
Long Beach, CA 90802
The Kress Building was number 152 in the total of nationwide chain stores founded by Samuel H. Kress (1863-1955). Constructed in 1923 on Long Beach's premier retail street, Pine Avenue, the store prospered. In 1928 - 29, a three-story addition was built on the south to double the store space and increase lunch counter services. Its opening was announced in the Press-Telegram on November 24, 1929. Kress' competitors, Woolworth and J.J. Newberry, also came to Pine Avenue, Woolworth in 1916 and J.J. Newberry in 1950. Unlike its competitors, the Kress store included a "high-rise" (seven story) office tower, whose profile was prominent on low-rise Pine Avenue.
The building closed for good in 1981 and sat vacant for 12 Years , until in 1992 the building was restored, then converted into high end lofts.

About Denise Dube

Denise Dube

"I don't create pictures, I make goosebumps" Alfred Hitchcock. I started out as a bored American teenager when my father took a job in the Middle East. That was when the passion of photography found me.. Soon after, I was paid by International Newspapers and travel publications for my work by age 15.. I am so lucky to live in the City of Long Beach in Southern California. The location affords me the opportunity to shoot almost any genre on a whim... Black and white, night (blue hour) and Landscape is my passion Current events: Denise's work has been shown in Museums, galleries, added to various collections and used by designers and set designers. She was featured in the LA Times, Orange County Register, MSN Lifestyle, local news...
